as long as it's not falling apart, and intact, and you use a cooler setting, it should be fine.

I wash and dry my rubber back bathroom rugs in the machine on a regular basis. I have never had any problem with them. My machine can handle only two bath size mats at a time. Even though more volume will fit in the machine it doesn't spin the water out well with more than two rugs.

I have done this before and I can honestly tell you that the rubber will crack and leave bit and pieces in the washer a real mess to clean up , so now I wash them in the laundry tub and hang them outside to dry , I also try to purchase new rugs without the rubber backing ,if you need to prevent them from slipping away just buy some backing that is sold by the roll .

Yes, wash it in cold water and do not put it in the dryer. Let it air dry or put it on a drying rack. The rubber will disintigrate and sift off the rug if it is dried. I only purchase the rugs that are stitched on the back now because they can be washed and dried; the rubber backed ones will eventually fall apart, even if you air dry them.

not unless u want a whole lot of rubber bits and pieces all over ur machine. i tried that and well lets say i still got that rug..but its not a rubber back anymore. well you should try a gentle cycle but definitely no dryer.

I wash mine in the washing machine. Just don't put it in the dryer. I've learned from that mistake. Hang it up to dry.

Yes it will be fine. I do all of the time and have never had a problem. I always wash mine in warm water and dry them on the low setting. It does not hurt them! :)

Yes, wash on a delicate cycle, but even after a few washings the back will start to peel & crack!

wash it in the washing machine as normal, using cold water. wash it by itself, hang it out to dry, don't use the dryer.

Yes on gentle though and you might want to use a mild detergent like Woolite. Also don't put it in the dryer, let it hang dry.
