suspend him after he admitted to taking steroids when he was with the Oakland A's and with the Yankees early in his Yankee career from 2002-2003. This guy is the Incredible Shrinking Man and is a fraud. The Yankees should've cut him and tried to re-coup the millions upon millions they paid to this idiot roider. He's making 23 million this year and has 12 HR's, that's like 2 million for every home run. 20 average people won't make 23 million in 2 lifetimes. This is a joke, and MLB is a joke and all you fans who pay to go to games are a joke and pay for hats, merch, etc, you are all jokes. The $8 beers you buy, the $5 hot dogs, you are all jokes. You are paying for this roiders salaries. As soon as the Yankees and Selig found out that Giambi had taken roids with the A's and it was because of his awesome artificial roid numbers that he put up, he got that huge 160 million contract for 8 years with the Yankees, they should've been able to void that and re-coup the money. But

because of the stupid MLB union and the lawyers and the jerk agents like Boras, these contracts are all guaranteed, and the Yankees can't do anything about it. When will the Yankees and other teams realize, and especially the Yankees (George), that you can't buy a World Championship, it just doesn't work. And all you people and Yankee fans who say, well, the Yankees can do that, because they have all the money to do that... You are stupid. They have the $ because stupid Yankee fans are willing to go to the games, pay $15-20 for parking, pay $50 for a ticket, buy 5 - $8 beers, buy $30 in food, etc. You are the people who are paying for these guys contracts, didn't you know that? Wake up.

When Jiambi admitted he had taken steriods it was not against baseballs rules so therefore the couldn't suspend hi because if they did the Players Association would have filed a grieve and won. Remember that every sport has the same cost for beer and food.

The Yankees have several players in the peaks of the contracts and Giambi is one of them.

When they signed him as a free agent his numbers were projected to be a lot better. Unfortunately it just didn't pan out that way.

Giambi isn't the only player not to live up to his salary this year. That list is very long.

no they shouldn't have suspended him. if they suspended everyone who took roids there would only be about half the players left. They wanna get an idea of how many people took roids, and if they suspend everyone that comes out, nobody will come out! As for the money, idk.
