This is the same meaning as your utopia question, i.e. is perfection possible. I think we established that 'perfection' is a concept of individual knowledge and acceptance for what that individual believes is factual and determinant for the human future.
Like one answerer before said, ask not what humanity may do for you but what you may do for humanity. Do unto any, even the least of us wrong, and you have wronged all in the human totality. Nirvana for the individual IS nirvana for humanity.

Nirvana is Paradise is hell. Imagine a world where everybody did nothing. No learning, Nothing to debate, No Progress, No news. Like everyone sitting around on clouds playing harps. How is that different than Apathy?
Maybe salvation is being saved FROM this?

Nirvana for everyone, absolutely every child of God eventually comes home to his or her rightful parent. You have no choice in the matter... everyone will have it.

The aim ought not to be saved, but to save--especially save oneself from mediocrity, distress, and hunger that arises from lack of living a life of authenticity.
