they are silvery grey with a black fin underneath and a pale orange tail. Their most distinguishing feature are spots either side of their middle which from time to time change to uneven stripes?????????????

The description is a help, but posting a picture helps even more. Or you can go page by page, either way. Sometimes posting a picture helps more because someone may have that species and know right off. I've always gotten better results that way.

Posting a picture would be best if you are able to but you could try looking on these web sites to for a picture of your fish
