How do you hug someone you can't reach physically?

By that, I mean someone that doesn't live near you.

Hug them in spirit. That's what I do all the time. Plus I write the word *Hugs*.

When you cannot get to someone physically and you want to hug
Meditate on what you know and picture the one you hope to hug
If they do not live near you it should not matter
Just follow the example and do the latter.

I like using the 'exponential method'.
First, you hug a nearby person.
Then, you instruct them to hug two other people.
Then, each of those two people hug two more people.
And so on.
And so on.

Eventually, somebody's gonna hug your intended target with the great-great-great-etc grandson of the hug that you started.

I try to convey my warmth with my words-- and hope that person feels hugged.
I think I do a pretty good job at it most of the time.

And then there's always this: *hug*

You just have to send an email that says, "Hugs," on it... and when speaking on the phone, send a few kisses.
You'll manage somehow.

I post it here..hug..hug..hug..Email..or call. It isn't like the real thing, but it works pretty good.
