So not all of them have a root?....suffix?..
I thought all of those words were supposed to have a Prefix, Root, and a Suffix.
~ I have a worksheet for school and for each word it says : -Definition:
-Prefix:
-Root:
-Suffix:
-Part of speech:
Should I just leave certain ones blank?...
Thank you anybody that tries to answer these! *u* (If I didn't have to wait 4 hours I would pick the best answer....and yes ~Free_your_Fancy I know I should try to figure stuff out on my own...but I have 3 hours worth of HW to do....)
Thanks Again!

Prefix is what is at the beginning, suffix is at the end.

IN
VIS (vision)
IBLE

YOU can figure out the rest (and you should at least attempt it -- that's the whole point of homework -- to try it and then get feedback). If you use ADD DETAILS to post what you think the answers are, others can let you know if you're right or not.

You having three hours of homework to do is NOT AN EXCUSE NOR A VALID REASON TO CHEAT on your work. The average student gets home from school by 3 pm and doesn't go to bed until 10. That's SEVEN hours. Get off the internet and start using your brain. Also, if you were paying attention in class and opened your book once in a while, you could have finished this homework in 15 minutes.

Fortunately for you, there will be at least a few point whores who are more than willing to do your work for you just for points that mean absolutely nothing.

Prefix is at the beginning of a root word, suffix is at the end of a root word, and the root word is the main part that the prefixes and suffixes are added to.

in - visible
incessant-ly
in-decent
luster-less
non-fiction
occur-ed
dis-claim-ers
