Medium rare is the best way to go. Nice and juicy. Right in between. Rare is not that great, to me, because I do not think that is as done as it should be, and I may become sick. Too done may have the steak being too dry. So, medium is the way to go.

Medium rare is the best way for steak if you are serving it to me. I don't like it too red though, I don't want to think the cook threw it on and then spaced out for a moment and thought it was done.

rare to medium rare is the best
but you have to have excellent meat to start with

most meat today you are safer having it cooked well to medium well done
otherwise you could find yourself watching TV from a hospital bed
