Is it right to have one because you opps got pregnant. Or do you think there has to be a medical reason or rape.

Medical reason or rape. It was never meant to be a form of birth control. If you don't want kids, you keep your legs closed. Period. Sex makes babies. It is not rocket science!

The fetus is undeniably a human fetus and since it is genetically unique from the instant of conception it is a human individual,however germinal it's form. Abortion is essentially in-vitro infanticide. There are circumstances where it is justified: endnagerment of the mother's life; pregnancy resulting from rape; and extreme deformation of the fetus. Abortion on demand - as a form of elective surgery - is obviously a social ill and a human rights violation. The point should also be raised that because the female carries the child,it is impossible to permit abortion on demand while protecting the parental rights of the male parent.

If you get raped, just remember that 2 wrong dont make a right. Just because you got raped is no reason to suck the legs off a baby or inject them w/ saline. You owe it to this baby to take care of it until it is out. You can put it up for adoption or w/e. A few months of pregnancy and a couple hours off pain is a small price to pay for the biggest gift you could ever give a baby, the chance to live. But i suppose if something has gone wrong in the pregnancy and you or you and the baby will die w/o an abortion, then it makes it a bigger possibility.

I don't know what I would do in that situation but all I can say is if I was raped I wouldn't want a reminder of it in my belly for nine months or end up raising the child to later explain how he/she came into this world. I try not to judge people or their situations.

For me it should only be allowed in a rape situation or where there are good medical grounds that the mother or baby is in danger.
It should never be used as a method of contraception.
If you're old enough to get laid, you're old enough to know how to use protection

No I do not agree with abortion as it is a start of a human life.
If the mother life is in danger by medical reason is the exception.

Well I think abortions aren't right when you make a irresponsible decision to have unprotected sex.
I think abortions can be considered if the person was raped, incest, it will harm or kill the mother or the child will have life altering birth defects.

No. abortion is wrong and selfish. people should think of that innocent life they created and how painful it would be to get rid of it!! that child didn't ask to be killed its not fair. imagine if someone shot u in the head just because they didn't want to deal with you. cruel isn't it?
the only exception is rape

It is right - they option to abort should be applied where necessary and take into consideration of each others opinion seperatly and not only one person, namely the woman. Circumstances are such that women take and make advantage of men for their right and men do not have anything to say.
