might be having sex for the first time soon. anybody got any suggestions cause im not really sure where to start when it comes to sex....

Is it her first time also? If so, for girls, there can be pain when the hymen breaks upon penatration. There can also be some blood.
The hymen is the thin membrane that sometimes covers the opening to the vagina if she's a virgin. I say "sometimes" because, even if she hasn't had sex, the hymen can do a bit of a disappearing act due to an overzealous workout at the gym, horseback riding, tampons, and even passionate "heavy petting" with her boyfriend. (It's not an impenetrable barrier, anyway, as it has holes to allow menstrual blood to escape.)
When she's turned on, the uterus and cervix rise, lengthening the vaginal tube. When your penis penetrates, the walls of the vagina stretch to accommodate the difference. If she's lubricated enough and you aren't in a hurry. You may have to start and stop a few times.
For some girls, the first few times might make her feel sore, as it's been an unused muscle or even hurt, if she isn't properly lubericated, or if you (the guy) is in a hurry, or if she's not fully aroused and her body isn't ready.
Relaxing, foreplay (touching, kissing, rubbing and caressing), being fully aroused or better yet, HER having an orgasm FIRST or using a lubricant like KY-Jelly or Astro-Glide can help.

Make sure you both respect each other. Have that talk and find out if she was tested for STD's. Buy condoms now, if you are just thinking about sex, be prepared.
Everyone is nervous the first time, and it's always awkard. If you are both ready, just relax and do what feels good.
