Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

best way... go to a dermatologist but since you say no more than 15 bucks:
1. make sure you wash your face everyday... i'd say 2 times a day with something NORMAL facewash... don't get any of that "acne-treating" stuff... they might dry your skin out even more especially because most of them contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. These chemicals are good for pimples but you don't want to put them on your whole face. Don't wash too frequently. This will dry out your skin as well. Also, use warm water first so your pores open up and use cold water to rinse off so your pores close up.
2. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week. I really like St. Ives Apricot Scrub... it's cheap and smells great. I recently bought a microdermabrasion kit for myself and that works VERY well.
3. Some people say to use a toner. I prefer not to because it contains alcohol and dries out my skin. I don't tone and I don't break out at all.
4. Treat pimples that you already have. I like Neutrogena's On-The-Spot-Treatment. Clearasil's on-the-spot stuff works well for me too.
5. MOISTURIZE!!! If you think the only way to get pimples is from oily skin, you're wrong! It can come from dry skin too!!!! Moisturize every day and keep those pimples away! You don't need to buy the expensive stuff! Just go to the drug store and get some Oil of Olay... it works fine on me. A lot of home remedies work as well... look for sites that have moisturizing tips using oatmeal and eggs and what not.

Get a spot treatment like Oxy 5% benzoyl peroxide. It's good to put on individual zits, and trouble areas. You should really get a good regimen for your skin so you can prevent this from happening.. and no it won't happen under $15. I find the Clinique 3-step system is great for normal/slightly acne-prone skin, it's what I use. Costs about $50 to get set up, but that lasts about 6 months or so, using 2x a day. The key is consistency... don't skip washing your face at night, etc. get into a good routine.

A great product to use is called Biore. You can find it at Tarfet or Walmart or any local drugstore. It is a fast acting clenser that prevents brealouts and clears up your skin in about a week. Biore also has a lot of products so you can use any product that will hwlp your skin more. Biore is a moistuizer plus a deep clenser that keeps your skin healthy and not dry. Biore is cheap and it actually works. I love it a buy all ther products and now have the clearest skin ever.

I have such HORRIBLE skin (or should I say "had") but I got Biore astringent- It works great and cost 6-7 bucks at Target. I have noticed instant results, my pores are smaller, I have less pimples and breakouts, and over-all my skin has been clearer and more radiant. After using an astringent that dries out your skin you need to be sure to use a light weight moisturiser. Is it very lightly- just enough to get some moister back.

I know this sounds disgusting but really even beauty salons do it
Squeeze it and then make sure you have a good wash just to get rid of germs so they cant spread zits are only blocked pores and once emptied they will be fine just be careful not to dig your nails in to hard or you could scar your skin
also next tiem you have a little spare cash treat yoursel fto a tea tree wash

use a cover up that has medication in it. They're usually around $8. Otherwise u might have to spend more if it continues long. You could get ProActive. I used that and it really works, fast. It's around $40 or so.

Neutrogena cream cleanser for sensitive skin. This should help. Doesn't dry the skin out and leaves skin soft. Definitely whatever you get....get it for sensitive skin. Those hard cleaners tend to have a lot of alcohol and its not good.

this will help, but not completely make it go away. take a facecloth and run it under some warm or hot water (be careful, dont burn yourself!) and gently place it over the pimples for a while. after wash your face with water and pat dry with a dry facecloth. this will reduce the size of it.
