I'm very into gothic and dark movies. I like old vampire movies, jhonen vasquez graphic novels, etc. I want to take a dive into anime. What are some possibilities for great dark anime to get into?

try elfen lied very dark and bloody anime. just a couple of warnings though 1st it does contain nudity and a lot of it. 2nd it doesnt have a lot of episodes only like 13 or 14. 3rd you can find them on youtube but make sure they are from the user SquishyPerv cuz he has them in English and the full episodes.
