its my fear...i can't travel by train as i feel trapped when it goes into a tunnel..i am such a wimp...My family laugh but its a terrible fear, I always feel like i am drowning...

Only time it has ever bothered me was years ago when I went potholing...(never again) the sensation of being in a very very enclosed space as I crawled along a tunnel was terrifying...it was the knowledge that there was no way out other than the way I was going...I couldn't go back, and no one was going to dig through solid rock to get me out....put me off for ever.

depends how confined, i am OK with crowded places, and small rooms, but say the the size of a coffin then yes it would frighten me, also don't like things over my face like masks or the hood of a scuba outfit

Not on a normal basis. I hate wasting by myself for the doctor to come in. There is no ventilation in thoe tiny rooms. I always feel like the walls are closing in on me.

Yes! And my friend was afraid of those little elevators in the Arch becoz they are soooooo small. I was fine the first time but then the second time I was all "OMG I dont wanna go in there its so small!"

Afraid? Hell no, I'm petrified of them. I can't even watch some shows on TV, because of it. There was an episode on CSI where Nic got buried alive, that one was the worst for me. I couldn't even sleep that night.
