Just say a brief "Thank you" and move on to the next customer. If you can manage it, say it with a smile instead of pulling a face and stomping away, tho I know that's easier said than done. If you have to kiss 99 frogs before you find your prince, move on to the next frog ASAP. What I'm trying to say is, don't waste time with people who're clearly not interested. Wishing you luck, patience and faith in yourself.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do for yourself is to quit wasting time on one stalwart customer who is not going to be sold and move on to the next customer.

I am a "hard sell." If I don't want something, you are not going to sell it to me, no matter what you do. I always tell sales people on the telephone or who are trying to sell something to me unsolicited that they are wasting their time on me, and that if they want to make a commission, they should move on to the next customer now instead of later. That way, they can move on to their next potential sale, and they'll have time for even another one after that.

See, I understand sales people are just trying to work and put food on their tables, just like I do, so I try, try, try not to be rude. If they keep on and keep on, though, and eventually end up pusing a button, I have been known to respond.

70% of those people are the ones you end up selling to. You can keep on giving your pitch, like you didn't even hear them. You could challenge their lack of intrest. Ex. "What? How could you not be intrested in .....? Don't you use or need this product?" A good closer is acually asking some one to pull out their check book or credit card and asking them to pay. If they deny haveing one, you callenge them with "you live in this nice house, got that nice car, wearing those nice clothes and you don't have a check book or credit card?"

Good luck with your sales. If my tips helped, please send 5% of your comissions

If you call me with a sales pitch and I say that, and you keep talking, the next sound you hear will be a click as the call disonnects.
