Divisible by 6 means it has to be divisible by 2 and by 3, because 2*3 = 6.
Divisible by 2 means it has to be an even number, and 291 is odd, so it's not divisible by 2, and therefore not divisible by 6.
(Note this approach only works with 6, and not other numbers. For example, if something is divisible by 2 and 4, that doesn't mean it's necessarily divisible by 8 even though 2*4 = 8. Think of the number 12.)
------
Divisible by 4 means you can divide it by 4, or you can divide it by 2 twice.
1160/2 = 580/2 = 290. So yes, it is divisible by 4.

I forget the trick for knowing if a number is divisible by 6.
The trick for 4 is to realize that any multiple of 100 is divisible by 4. So you only have to look at the last two digits. If the number formed by the last two digits is divisible by 4, then the entire number is divisible by 4.
For your problem, 60 is divisible by 4, so 1160 is divisible by 4.

Yes to both. 291 divided by 6 is 48.5; 1160 divided by 4 is 290.
