Longer to get where you're going. I think the anticipation is what makes it seem to take longer.

It ALWAYS takes me longer to get there, especially if I listen to my husband's directions! He says he knows the "short way" - but it always takes an hour longer and involves a street directory to find out where we have finished up! Coming back - he just stays quiet!!

Going there. Going home usually seems quick. I guess because I already know the way and how long it's gonna take.

Yes...traffic seems terrible these days and there seems to be road construction everywhere. I live only 15 mins away from my work and when I am driving home...it takes about 30 min....it's very frustrating.

It takes longer to get there especially when you don't know exactly where you're going.

It always seems longer getting there! (Especially when I was a kid and my brother and I would go to my Grandparents' house for the summer. Talk about "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" for 600+ miles! Must've drove our parents daft! lol)

The trip home is always the longest for me. Because usually everyone is tired, and it is so quiet, there is nothing to pass the time.
