no, not really. people normally ask your age to get a better idea of who you are. it also helps start conferstaions. like, if your still in school, you could talk about that, or if your old enough to get a job, you can talk about that, ect. now, if the person is only asking my age just to know if im close to his or her age just to know if he's able to cyber me or something, then that bothers me.

No it dosent bother me people asking my age what bothers me people often think I'm younger than I am and in some stores even to buy a lottery ticket they ask me for ID and I have a huge beard and everything. I dont know I guess for some people it might be a compliment but for me it's annoying because its so obvious I think that I look of mature age.

Sometimes. If they ask out of curiosity, I don't mind. I'll be 30 in a week but most people think I'm about 24.
If it's an older person making a remark about how I "wasn't even born yet" when something happened, I take offense. Sometimes it's nice to look young; other times it sucks because professionally, people don't take me as seriously.

No. I assume that they cannot guess my age for a variety of reasons. Perhaps I act more mature than I appear to be of age. I just don't let the little things in life bother me . . .

Not really. It has really bothered me when people (it has happened several times) have thought that I am my twin sister's mother. As you can guess, we aren't identical, but that just isn't fair! I turned grey at a VERY young age...
Haven't you heard that it doesn't matter what you model you are as much as how many miles you have on the chassis?

for some reason, people are all over the board with my age so i actually kind of like it when they ask, to set it straight. I'm only 15, but people say i look 12, and people say i look 17. one kid guessed that i was 19!

No, cuz I like seeing the shock on their faces when I tell them! I am 36 but people are always taking me for at least 8 years younger and never believe me when I tell them I'm over 30! As a woman, ya gotta love that! lol

Normally it doesn't bother me as it's a natural progression of life. However, if a significantly younger person asks me then I would assess the circumstances before answering :)

No cuz I'm 49 years YOUNG and I'm a grandma and proud of it.....and I don't look my age too much (people say they are shocked) and that makes me feel good!! BUT if it comes to be discriminatory -- then YES....like on-line applications -- you really have to put your birthdate and you can now only apply on-line for good jobs --- and so therefore, they don't meet you first because you don't get called.....but you can't prove that it's happening either. I'm proud of my age.....I'm a smart woman and I'm proud of who I am -- although right now -- laid off.

Not at all!
I'd be more bothered if they assumed my age to be older.
Kind of like asking someone "when are you due?" When they're not really pregnant!
