I don't.

Some abortionists say that it is merely destroying the tissue of a human conception.

In Psalm 139, the psalmist says God knew him and formed him in his mother's womb.

Abortion is WRONG. It is murder. Fetus' are still subject to human traits such as: hiccups, thumb-sucking, and pain. It is murder.

Do you think It's right?

I have mixed feelings.

I in no way think that having an abortion is right. I believe that if you are adult enough to take your clothes off and have sex, then you better be adult enough to deal with a pregnancy. People want us to believe that abortion is just another one of the responsible options a woman has when she finds herself with an unwanted pregnancy. But what is responsible about it? It's a cop-out if you ask me. It's a horrific means to an end. And I could go on even longer about the doctors and clinics that perform these abortions that don't give women the real facts. There are so many women who think it's just an easy way out of a bad situation, and unfortunately they figure out way too late that isn't an easy way out. Many women are actually haunted by it for YEARS after they have it done and ultimately end up seeking therapy to deal with it.

That doesn't sound like an easy way out to me.

But having said all of that, I'm not sure if it right or not for us to allow women the right to make the choice to have an abortion. The part of me that thinks it is dispicable wants it to be against the law, but the part of me that believes we have the right to do what we want with our bodies thinks it should be up to the women decide.

I guess I just wish these women would wise up to what abortion means and the implications it has for our society as a whole. It's certainly not an indication of how far we've advanced. It's sick and twisted proof of just how far we slipped away from what makes this country great.

So that's my 2 cents worth...or more like 59cents. I kind of went off. :)

Well I personally object to abortions being legal, (though they are) and questions such as this really get me going, but I'm going to behave today. :) Thing is by the time the individual realizes that they're expecting, a fetus would have already started some type of formation, having a heart beat and beginning early stages of development that maybe we don't even know of. I have a few friends that seem to have boasted about going to the abortion clinics or just taking care of the matter through some homeopathic 'remedy'. They honestly make me sick, and said to one of them, 'what if the abortion that you had when you discovered you were expecting, turned out to be the daughter that you so love now?' Does it make that much sense to be cruel and insensitive? Children are a blessing from God whether they were conceived intentionally through wanting the pregnancy or not. In more extreme cases, which I would rather not mention, there are instances where the victim had no problem with carrying the child; though the memory of cause is very painful to bear, only they that are strong enough to pull through it make the better of it. Expectancy shouldn't have to be a curse, but instead a great joy, that is why there is a thing called 'protection!' if one doesn't wish to become a parent, but not everyone works with a sound mind or a full deck and would rather play the game of 'risk' instead of doing the right thing. Now stem cell research! OMG....Somebody please shut my computer off.

i am against abortion but at the same time it should be legal because there are people are are going to get abortion regardless and it is better off if they went to a professional place. Legalizing it will only add another option for women. It is hard because there are certain situations where some believe abortion is necessary some might not agree but the reality is that crasy things happen to people such as being rape whether it happens to an adult or a child ans sometimes that can occur rape by a stranger or a family member. rape is a very traumatic event and it is hard for people to deal with it emotionally, mentally, and physically, and to have a human as a result it is a constant reminder of what happened to them. Yes you could have the baby and give it up for abortion but majority of the time the adopted child could grow up and want to know their birth parents and as a result the painful memory is brought back to the individual.. I am not condoning it but at the same time I can understand why some women would want it. It is up to the individual who should decide what to do we should not dictate to them or force a decision on the individual if we are not the ones going through a traumatic episode. It should be there as an alternative.

I prefer the option to leave it open - some crazy people get all egoistic and insist on landing some other right into their nasty ways and plans. I am not against having children - I am against the consent of bearing fruit that isn't exactly wanted at that time due to circumstances and other matters. Parenting should be a thought out process for both concerned, however women tend to lean towards their own needs and not that of the whole - men eventually leave them because of their own selfishness and one-sided thinking. There ain't no social service or councelling that deals in such things rather than bringing a family together long-time..again..mostly these relations are definetly short-lived. They actually ruin men. Women also tend to lie about taking pills, use of condoms as bursting or some other lame excuse..all are defrocking means to an end - a womans end.

I do believe in it but only in some circumstances such as if there is severe abnormalities or if the girl is too young, poor, into drugs etc, or if its a result of rape. What i dont agree with is how far they allow people to go before aborting. I had my first scan at 14 weeks and my baby was moving on the screen and was clearly fully formed. How can they say this is still a Fetus at this stage? i myself could not EVER abort my child unless there was something very wrong.

Of course you are simply wrong. God invented abortion in the form of miscarriage and gave every person the ability to abort through the use of a sharp blow to the belly at the same time he created Adam and Eve.
It is interesting to note that when a pro lifer such as yourself "saves" a fetus it causes the death of 12 loved and living children. You don't save lives or stop murder, you are a murderer. You kill 12 for each you "save". http://www.prolifeismurder.com.
The important things to know about pro lifers are as follows.
There are 100 million children in the world that need adoption. And there are only a couple hundred thousand Americans that will adopt this year. So adoption doesn't work. And there are 10 million children that will die of easily cured illness. So spending money to save a fetus and not spending all your time and money to save the sick children leads to their death.
The only reason the pro life movement exists is to raise money of the leaders of the movement. And what do you get if you give to the pro life movement? You get to be one of the suckers that thinks they are saving life when actually they are causing death.
When Psalms 139 is viewed in the light of God's eyes you see the real meaning. God creates fetuses, eggs, and humans. Of the eggs he creates, half are aborted before they are viable. So god says he formed them in the womb and then he aborts them. And the same is true for anything else you quote from the Bible. God uses abortion, because he knows that by allowing an unwanted fetus to pass, he is giving life to 12 other humans. And now you know the truth. It is your duty to stop your evil pro life ways and follow God and join the pro choice movement. You are responsible for your actions from this point forward.

Well, here's the rub.

I believe in a woman's right to make decisions that directly effect her health. Further, I believe that during early pregnancy a fetus is simply a lump of tissue that has yet to become a viable autonomous human being.

OTOH, clearly at some point the fetus is no longer a chunk of cells. the burning question is exactly when that happens.

I definitely think that late term "partial birth" abortions are simply infanticide and should be illegal. However, I don't have a problem with a woman voluntarily terminating a pregnancy in the first trimester (provided they are not using my tax dollars to repeatedly have early abortions as an alternative form of birth control).

It's an emotional topic for most people anywhere you go on this planet.
I hear some God fearing folk name calling on this one already... KILLERS... MURDERERS!...

I don't say I agree that abortion is the proper thing to do as a human being, because I feel being "human" means we must hold ourselves to the highest possible standards as the "top" beasts that God has put to walk on his green earth.

Also speaking as a man who has had to live his empty life after the loss of all three of his only children, I would personally NEVER vote to willingly abort a child of mine!

Having said that, I can argue for every womans right to be in control of what happens to her own body!
Within reason...
I'm not a politician, nor am I willing to stay here all night and play God either, but for sake of arguement I would defy anyone that would insist a rape victim or a minor forced into incest - as examples.
Nobody that cares wants to see anymore death.
Perhaps if we let people take care of thier own affairs and look to our own families, there would be less to worry about all around ?

To answer the question you asked... I don't feel someone who makes that personal choice who isn't being wreckless or deliberately malicious should be made into a criminal for it.

I extremely believe that abortion could desire to be legal. it extremely is a private determination- if abortion is legal then you could make your man or woman determination yet whilst it extremely is prohibited, the suited suited to make that determination gets taken faraway from you. i do no longer think that below any circumstances, an unborn 'toddler' (could desire to i bypass so some distance to call it that) could desire to come till now the well being, nicely-being and threat of a grown female. that is thoroughly illogical to me. so some distance as term is going, i for my section am slightly uncomfortable with having an abortion interior the 0.33 trimester using fact the fetus is thru that factor extremely a touch one yet whilst there are issues that could desire to endanger the life of the mummy I thoroughly comprehend it. it extremely is a private determination and isn't any one else's enterprise. That being stated, i'm thoroughly against applying abortion as one in all those birth control and selective intercourse abortions. I in spite of the undeniable fact that would on no account get rid of somebody's outstanding to have an abortion in spite of my ideals and evaluations. Its their life and physique- their enterprise.

If abortion was illegal, we will see an increase in human population and that will only lead to overpopulation and a faster depletion of our natural resources and other wildlife, which in turn, decreases the amount of oxygen output. The more trees we have the more oxygen there is for humans and animals to breathe. We will also see an increase in kids waiting to be adopted and that increase can also lead to orphans getting poor education. Poor education can lead to numerous things (most of them have to do with the economy) Making abortion illegal will lead to other problems and those problems will have a negative effect on the entire living organisms population (not just humans...animals and plants too)

There wont be much (if any) "negative unintended consequences" by keeping abortion legal. It doesnt lead to a faster increase of the human population. Abortion slows down or keeps the rising rate at a desirable level.

I support abortion and it should be kept legal. It will continue to benefit all (including plants and animals)

Butting into other people's lives is wrong. You want to believe in God, even though that is alarming and appalling, and noone pickets outside your church screaming "I hope you die" at your 15 year old children. Little old men do that at abortion clinics. Here's this young 16 year old girl, scared to death and totally emotionally ruined from this decision she has to make, because she was raped, or because carrying a kid to term would kill her, ruin her future, or some other reason, and then here is all these HEARTLESS people with signs that swarm her car as she pulls in, taps the windows, screaming at her, telling her she's evil, why dont you picket against that instead. It is none of your business what i choose to do w/ my life, my body, or my offspring. If i want to drown them in the bathtub, i can and i will. And nothing you say or do will change that. Why dont you focus on things that would actually work to benifit a community, reformed health care, immigration, getting douche bags out of office, instead of picking petty battles just to have something to whine about.

And to all the people hailing adoption, there are already over 500,000 underpriveledged, homeless children right here in the US. The population is out of control. If we killed off the girl ones at birth like the chinese, we wouldnt have that problem. You dont need to adopt kids from other countries, there are plenty right here in America, which is appalling considering Oprah could single handedly end it.
