Go to a class or amateur dramatics society. The only way you get experience is to try, and don't worry about your nerves, everyone gets nervous, acting actually builds confidence.
I really recommend you try it, I started acting as a really shy 12 year old and by the time I was 18 I was in plays and things and way more confident, and that stayed with me well into adulthood, even though now I work behind a camera rather than in front of it. It's the best thing I ever did.

READ DIS IF U WANT 2 B AN ACTRESS OR SINGER. ITS LONG BUT USEFUL SO READ ALL OF IT PLZ!!!
Sry but the chances of you becoming an actress is very slim. There is millions of people dat want dis job 2 but its not a gud 1. i wanted 2 become 1 at 1st but my parents said no. First cuz ur education wont b gud cuz ur always acting n homeschooling wont be good cuz its not up 2 da state standered. Also its not a life time thing. You can only do dis wen ur young and look, think of at least 10 seniors that are still acting rite now. Besides, your agent can betray you. Like dats wat happened to my mom's friend. He made her do all this crazy things even marrying a 67 years old man. And finally he said "oh i quit. i dont want to be your manager anymore" And another of my mom's friend daughter was studying to become an actress all her life. after 4 long years of collage, shes now a waitress hoping dat some1 can accept her to be a actress. ALso, think about all da money they spend on make-up, clothes and all dat. Those stuff comes out of ur pay so practically, ur pay isnt dat much. And think about all dat make-up. It's just gonna ruin ur face n wen ur 30 or 40, u'll have wrinkles. Its tough out there and im not tryin to put u down but im just sayin, just focus on ur education n wen u grow up, u can do w.e u want 2 do n make lots of money 4 it 2.

Be in all the school plays. Take speech and drama classes, read all the plays you can. Read books about acting. Take a professional class. And get your parents' support, you can't work as an actor without their signature until you are 18.

Get involved in school plays and community theatre. Also, start reading plays.
If you are a Netflix user, check them out for plays on dvd! Alot of stage plays and musicals have been filmed. (Make sure to look for the 'stage recording' format)
Also, start seeing plays where you can... If you can't afford them at your local stage theatre, ask them how you can get a discount. (Maybe you can be an usher...Ushers get to see plays for free!)
Good luck
