I think anybody can win the cup since every single football playing country in the world is still able to qualify.

It is far too early to be asking this question. Countries haven't started qualifying for this tournament yet and there isn't even any of the proposed stadiums built yet!

In response to another answer to this question. South Africa HAVE NOT lost the right to host the 2010 Wold Cup. They have plenty of time to meet their targets. Also, the United Kingdom are NOT the back up to host the tournament. There is no back up. England has been mentioned but that is completely speculation since England are almost certain to host the tournament the next time the cycle reaches Europe.

This is Africa's chance to host the most popular sporting tournament in the world for the very first time. They will not miss this lucrative and historic opportunity. They will not mess it up. They will host a fantastic tournament.

It is unpredictable. Some people are saying that Brazil, Argentina or south Africa it self but i tell you,a country of no reputation or rank can wins the match so nobody can predict the competition.

I hope Germany. And I doubt Argentina will win with their losing streak, 3-0 in the Copa America, 2-1 against Norway. And how was FIFA unfair? Germany just won..
