If you were a woman whose husband had just pled guilty to lewd conduct in a public place, the details of which involve him attempting to solicit sex in a public restroom... what would you do? Would you stay married to someone who had random anonymous sex in public restrooms?

cattledog: I agree; attacking the spouse is ALWAYS a bad idea, even if you don't LIKE the spouse.

I don't know much about these two people's personal lives. I imagine it would be a very hurtful time for his wife and family. While I don't feel a lot of sympathy for him given that he has made morality an issue in many public political situations, I have a lot of sympathy for his wife.

Whatever she decides I will not criticize her. I think attacking a spouse (like many o with Hillary Clinton) for her husband's adultery is spiteful. It is a matter for those two people to resolve.... I got my own problems to deal with not some politician's wife.

First of all my heart goes out to that poor woman and of course the children.

If I really loved him, I would demand that he get the best psychiatric counseling available. As a member of Congress he gets it for free, (unlike the rest of us working stiffs) and stand by him until a definite prognosis can be determined.

Either way, I would consult a lawyer.

I would:

1. Get tested for STDs
2. Hire the best divorce lawyer in Idaho.
3. Take the creep for all he's got.

Personally I don't know what she would do. But me personally, he and I would have a long talk right before I walked out the door. I could not stay with someone who disrespects me and endangers my life.

Those who are in the closet usually have family members who look the other way.

I am not one of them. I would be seeing the divorce lawyer.

1st: Get tested for STD's.

2nd: Dump him, he obviously has a thing for men that no amount of rehab will solve.
