While I think Gore is more than qualified to be the president of the United States (personally, I would not vote for him... but there are a lot worse choices out there that are running in both parties), he could never be a succesul candidate. The perception of him now is that he is one-dimensional and too preoccupied with environmental politics... his opponents would have a field day with that and he will have to constantly have to defend environmental issues while he will want to talk about other issues but no one will allow him to do that.
He is now a prisoner of the environment for good or bad. But the American electorate will not want a one-issue presidency and that would be the scare.

Although Al is still highly respected, not enough people take him seriousely. Until most Americans realize that many of the problems he attacks are just as important as the ones we're doing a terrible job at, he will be a washed up politican in too many of their eyes.
Someday the nation will wake up and realize as long as we're occupying the middle east, there will be a jihad against us. We're too focused on catylising war (bombing) and not focused enough on securing ourselves from the inside-out. We ignore the beauty of diplomacy and a more efficient, hi tech security system.
While we spend spend spend on the well being of the Middle east, we're forgetting about the problems in our homeland. And one big one is Mother Nature.
Once we Americans realize that man cannot over power her, then we will realize it's time to vote for Gore.

It wouldn't matter they have the same agenda... but Al Gore is still a hunderd times better than her.. I think it maybe to late for him to run, the illuminati already picked their spokesperson
"For more than a century, ideological extremists, at either end of the political spectrum, have seized upon well-publicized incidents, such as my encounter with Castro, to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal, working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists,' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

I think there's still time for a lot of people to enter the race. Look at Fred Thompson. Personally, I'm holding out for Evan Bayh. But I do think Gore has a much better chance of winning than Hilary, no matter when he enters.

Absolutely not. Even if he entered the race when she began, he couldn't beat her. He missed his chance when he didn't challenge George W. Bush many years ago. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and God Bless.

No.
He could not beat Hillary.
No.
He will not enter.
No.
It is not too late.
Gore is too frightened of Hillary, to run against her.
He remembers Vince Foster, very well.
Gore spent 8 years as VP, and scared to death of Hillary.
He's even a bigger sissy than Johnny Edwards.

No, it's not too late. The campaigning started WAY too early, actually. I don't believe that Bill Clinton got active until Oct.

No. This election for the nomination is rigged for Hillary and Al knows it, which is why he is not running.
It is also why Hillary gets no hard questions during any of the debates.
