Any hunters out there?

How many of you hunt whitetail (or any other) deer?

My last name is Hunter, and I come from Nebraska so I have shot a rifle or two, but I haven't in a long time. I always went huntin white tail with my grandpa on his farm in NE. We'd always get a phesant or two as well...ahhh those were the days.

And to all you tree-huggers out there - thinning out the numbers of deer so they don't die of horrible months long starvation is much better than a quick semi-painless death, wouldn't you agree? I guess not, that's why you protest. Maybe you should inform yourself before you make yourself look stupid.

Sure, I've been hunting since I was tall enough to hold both ends of a rifle off the ground at the same time. ( about 40 years worth) Around here, we don't have white tail deer. We hunt Mule deer, black bear, elk, antelope, lion, moose, and lots of bird species as well.

my dad used to hunt but then we moved and he hasn't had time. i grew up with deer hanging in my garage and antlers as chairs in my tree fort. My dad hunted to save deer from over poppulating and not for game. We used everything we could and sold the rest to others who would use it. I think huntings OK if thats how you do it. I hate hunters who hunt for fun. I would be a vegetarian if i hadn't been raised on deer meat. Duck is goood too...
