Are you blind submitting to this agency or did they seek you out and ask you to submit a package? If you are doing blind submission then start by addressing the letter to a specific agent! As simple as it sounds this actually weighs pretty heavy!

Then write something along the lines of:

Please accept my photos and resume for possible consideration of future representation. I will contact your offices next week to verify your receipt of this package.

Thank you very much for your time,

Sign it and you're done! Keep it short and sweet because agents, managers, casting directors etc.... don't have the time you read your life's bio, UNLESS they have specifically asked for it.

If the agency has asked you to write a letter detailing certain aspects of yourself, then address those elements accordingly, but don't go overboard. For instance if you played football in high school they don't need to know your season by season stats.

Unfortunately there really isn't a standard length for a cover letter, but there is a reason so many people often use the saying "less is more". All the best!

If you are under 18, you will need a letter from a parent asking the agent to represent you. You cannot sign a contract until you are 18. Agent cover letters are covered in Acting as a Business by Brian O'Neil. OH=OH What agency is this? I want to protect you from swindles. Do let me know.

If the agency asked for hobbies and interests, don't you think you should include it, since they asked for it?
