I cant get my schoolwork done! I log online, check my email, check myspace, check perez, check yahoo, check facebook, read the newspaper, look at craigslist, then by the time i have to go to class, i haven't got my work done.....

Dude, lets get our priorities straight.
First of all, too much distraction! Of course you don't have time to do your homework if you spend at least 3 hours in the PC!
I'll give you some tips to do all what you want on the internet and also you will have to do the homework:
* First. Get organized. If you have too much homework one day, forget about the computer until you have finished. Do the homework ahead of time for you to have more time to spend on the pc
* If you need to do a homework on the pc, first do that, and then think about going to myspace
In conclusion, the keys are organization, priorities, and then free time. You will see that if you get organized, you will have time to do all what you want plus more!!

There's no such thing as addiction. You're only deceiving yourself by calling it addiction. You keep doing it only because every time you get home from school you say to yourself, Now I'm gonna get on the computer, check my email, check my space, check perez, check yahoo, check facebook, read the newspaper, look at craigslist, and then do homework. So tomorrow when you get home from school, decide that what you're gonna do first is your homework. If you find yourself sitting at the computer, get up and walk away from it. well i kno how it is cause im addicted to myspace to but i do my work then i get on cause then i can be on for like the rest of the night till i have to go to bed

try to finish your homework work first at school or when you get home from school! you can cancle the internet servie, i wouldn't cancle it !
