Well i heard from a friend that JK Rowling is going to make another Harry Potter book, but this one is going to be what happens AFTER voldemort dies and what Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione do for a living and follow their kids at school or something like that. I think it would be interesting to see but i want to hear if you think she is and what it might be about...or if she should make one =]

She's been interviewed about this a couple of time and she said that her Harry Potter days are over. I just finished the last book today and I think she tied up all the loose ends and closed up the series nicely. She says she done with Harry and is looking forward to writing something else. I would love it if she came back, but I really don’t see it happening and neither does she.

I've seen on the news that she is writing a murder mystery novel and not another Harry Potter book. Give the woman a break. She's been doing one series for about 10 years. It's only fair that she be allowed to try doing something else.

I would think that after dealing with Harry for all these years she's ready to move on to other projects. She'll want to show that she can write about something other than HP. After she's done that she may decide to return to Harry, Ron and Hermione, but she's saying no and I wouldn't expect anything to change about that for a few years.

I heard she is done, for now, with the Harry Potter world but is working on some other material for what look to be a crime novel.

No. JKR has stated flatly in numerous places that '...Deathly Hallows" is the last Harry Potter book. She is, however, currently working on a new novel--a detective mystery...and yes, she's back working in the cafes around Edinborough.

There is a Youtube interview with her, and she talks about the future of all the characters after the end of the last book. They mostly end up working for the Department of Magic.
She is working on two books, a murder mystery and another children's book (with no Harry).

I doubt she'll write another Harry Potter book, but I certainly could see her writing other novels.

It sounds like a good idea but I think she did a good enough job ending it all in the last book. We know what happens to them so I wouldn't want another book. If she writes again that would be fine, but I think she should leave HP alone. I love those books!
