What do you think are some advantages and disadvantages of living in a "state of nature"( life with no government or laws)?

I see no advantages.
Disadvantages: No services (policemen, firemen, schools, roads, water lines, power lines, facilities). No rights - to property, health, protection, privacy.
Laws are the basis of civilization. Government maintains the laws and fosters cooperation among those governed.

adavnatges we could do what ever we want when we wanted to disadvantages we could do what we want when we want. without laws people ran rampant killing stealing and many other things and the only thing to do is kill or steal back then its an eye for an eye community and with the ways people do things we would never progress as a civilization that way

Disadvantages: anyone can approach you and do whatever they want, whenever they want without facing repurcussions. While a majority of people would continue life as usual, one small band of criminals would ruin it for everybody. I predict mass war everywhere if this type of anarchy were to exist.
