I had hot flashes starting around 5 months and getting worse through the end. It was winter when I was 8 and 9 months pregnant and was always rolling down the window in the car because I was hot. My sister was freezing and my mom loved it because she was going through menopause at the time. Ha ha!

I was pregnant last summer during that horrible heat wave that came through. I always felt hot and with the temps as high as they were it just made it worse. From what I can remember mine started about 3-4 months and didn't really let up until the end of my pregnancy. I was sure to drink a TON of water, stay out of the sun as much as possible, and stay in the ac as much as possible. I know it hard because it feels like no matter what you do there are times you just can't cool down. I have a friend who was pregnant during the winter months and ran her ac because she was so hot. Her husband was miserable! All the best to you and this too shall pass!

I'm 34 weeks along, and I have only experienced one hot flash that lasted about 30 minutes. But it was aweful, and very intense!

I had them occasionally in the first trimester and then again in the last!! I also had terrible morning sickness though so I think that had something to do with it!! Drink lots of water, stay inside where it's cool if possible and rest! The best thing you can do is make sure you stay hydrated!!

I got them towards the middle of my second pregnancy, don't really remember having them with my first. I am still getting them every once and a while now and my son is 4 months. Hang in there!

I started having them around 6-7 months & they lasted through out my pregnancy, it was SO uncomfortable, plus we live in TX & its been a really hot summer

They started for me around 22 week, and seem to get worse as I progress... Hope this helps!!!

I started getting them within the first week or so, and they don't really go away. Just stand under a cold shower.

all pregnant women have hot flashes... its normal... many not pregnant women also have hot flashes
