In 4 years there are 3*365 + 366 = 1461 days
[because 2008 is a leap year]
From July 20 until today (August 28) there are 31+8 = 39 days
1461 - 39 = 1422.

If year is divisible by 4 & or 400, then there's 366 days. If not, then 365 days. Figure it out.
