no in fact when you swim the flow stops due to the pressure of the water, so it you put a tampon and as it is inside therewill be no mistakes, it will hold the little blood that might come and won´t come out.

Good luck! ;D

More likely water will get in the tampon, so change it ASAP after the swim to keep bacteria from multiplying in there.

Not if you put it in right and change it often. That's the whole point of wearing a tampon - it absorbs the blood before it leaves your body and acts as a sort of "plug" to prevent it leaving.

No, not unless the tampon leaks normally. Just put in a fresh one right before you go swimming, and you'll be fine. A word of advice though, tuck the string up so it doesn't hang out of your bathing suit.

No- it is so far up there that it pretty much stops anything from escaping. Just make sure you change it often-like once every 3 to 4 hours- if you plan on being in the water all day.

Not with a tampon, no.

Without one, yes. You still bleed when you are in the water. I've had big clots come out when I'm in the bath. The blood just gets diluted so you don't see it, but it's still coming out.

when swimming in the water you do not even have to wear a tampon because once in there the water seemingly will stop the flow of your period.

not if it is placed properly internally. If you are still worried, don't go swimming. Have never had this happen to me personally and have swum many times during my cycle.

No it shouldn't but if it does you probably need a higher absorbency.
