In both these situations - here and on the road - people have a certain amount of anonimity which allows them to react in ways that - one hopes - they would not in a face to face situation.
It is a little like the bullying tactics of saying or doing whatsoever you want knowing that someone is somehow unable to 'hit' back.
I wonder also who the people on here with such vitriol and hatred of just about anything!
I do not even read some of the stuff put out by the same old idiots that come up time after time with antagonistic clap trap trying to get people to bite!
What a waste of time and communication opportunities.
But grab yourself a star just for being nice!

A lot of people today have entirely too much stress in their lives. Uncontrolled stress can easily spill over into each and every thing we do. Many people I know try to take on problems that they have no control of. Why even worry about something you have no control of. Finding more appropriate means of dealing with pent up anger and stress is the only way to cure it. If a question on Yahoo Q&A offends you, instead of lashing out, find a less judgement way of answering the question within the community guidelines. Road rage is another situation. Ignore them the best you can and just stay out of their way. People need to think about the good in their life and reflect more on that. Life is good and only what you make it. All of us have struggle and strife but working through these situations properly is what makes one a better person. It starts with one person living up to a higher set of standards and then others will follow. Don't make any type of rage yours...ignore it!!!

I have no clue but, I do not like the rudeness and anger I see in here and on the road! It is all about the "Me" society!
Also, I am not so sure some of these people on these sites would have the nerve to say what they say, in person! They can be whomever they want to be and act however they want to act...in the guise of the internet!
I do not like this "rage" but, it is real and it shows total disrespect for themselves and others...just wish they could see this!

I sincerely hope that I have not come across as a person with rage...I do not rage at anything..it just is not worth the energy or effort...gets nothing accomplished, and usually has the opposite effect than planned.

Young people learn that the most important thing in life is for everyone to get along and they do. But........ it doesn't work. All the anger and rage is pent up and has to find release. These are the easiest places to release.

Because rage comes from people who have no lives and just sit here infront of the computer all day!(non-work related!)

This kind of behavior was predicted by scientists studying human behavior in the 1920's. It all stems from overpopulation and the increasing separation from other people that has come from cars and computers.
People simply do not relate to each other because they feel too isolated.

Because Everybody likes to think they are the ones that are right all the time. And I think seeing the same thing posted day after day gets a little old.

I think it's just one persons ability to let "things" slide. After all this is the Senior Citizens, at this stage of the game I can't figure out what would anger people so much, and this is after all a game of words. "...and words are only words until they melt your heart away" . <> <>

I ask myself that same question & if I could answer it, I would most likely become an overnight saint or a target for a hitman with a high powered scope on their weapon!
