The president who was most responsible for eviscerating civil rights in this country, who lived in a state of constant cronyism, and who allowed himself to be convinced by those cronies into starting a war for their benefit without regard to the benefit of the citizens of either country. The president who drug the country kicking and screaming back to the '60's in environmental focus and caused damage it will take decades to erase. The president who turned a budget surplus into the biggest budget deficit in existence.

Actually, history will probably be kind to George W. Bush and his presidency. After all, he did have to deal with the terrorist attack on New York, and this country. He did have one of the worst disasters, (dollar wise) in Katrina, and Rita hitting the gulf coast, back to back. He has had to deal with a liberal arm of the democratic party that has despised him and everything he has tried to do, and a main stream media, that has supported these left wing attacks against the man.
All the while though, unemployment has stayed low, between 4 and 5 %, federal taxes have not increased, but revenues to the treasury are up, and the budget deficit, even with funding a war is actually dropping.
