I would go to college BEFORE I got married.
I got married right out of high school.
That means; NEITHER of us had decent jobs. BOTH had dead-end minimum wage jobs. But at the time, we were both living at home with our parents. So who needed anything other than minimum wage?

Once we got married, we needed a LOT more money to live. We now had rent, insurance, etc. that we did NOT pay when we lived at home (and had life so much better at home...).

So life for a few years was a real struggle. Once we did not have any food for 4 days. It was that rough. And no, our parents would not help. BOTH sides were opposed, greatly, to our marriage.

She is Cuban, my family is British. My family referred to her as the "hired help." Her family said "marry a good Cuban man."

Nothing but love...

Leaving a job I had in December 2006 for a different job. Because the grasser is not always greener on the other side of the fence and money does not equal happiness. I endured 4 mos. of sheer HELL before getting out of that job. . .not worth it at all even for a million dollars!

id find a way to change the last six months of the time i was with my ex. it ended really badly and caused a lot more pain then i ever knew it would...so if i could just skip those months, or redo them right, life would be swell. like, i cant even put into words how ugly it got....he damaged my self esteem so badly i still havent fully recoverd from it even 2 years later. it sucks even more because it went from damn near perfect relationship, to shittyer than you can imagine practicly overnight....

I'd have gone straight to college after high school, because waiting a year did nothing but postpone my degree and thus my advancement in my career.
