Collecting things qualifies, especially at your age. Usually for an older collector to call it a hobby, they do more than collect something--they learn about it as well.
A better choice for deciding a hobby to write about would be to think about how you spend your free time. Ask your self questions like, What subject is so interesting to you that you spend time learning about it, doing work that is related to it just for the satisfaction of accomplishing it or learning more--things like that. Some people learn everything they can about cars, learn to fix simple things, and bother to study cars they will never own, learn repairs even though they will never work as a mechanic, and so on.
Another way to put it is, what is the one thing no one is making you do that you work hardest at? If that is too tough to answer, just write something nice about snow globes--that should satisfy your teacher.

yeah cause think about it, is collecting baseball cards a hobby? yeah. Sits the same for football cards. Collecting anything is a hobby.

Yes, collecting is probably the oldest hobby known to mankind. There is evidence that stoneage people collected things simply for the pleasure of collecting, such as shells and pretty rocks.

Well kind of since when you collect things you do all you can do get more of it and that is sort of considered a hobby.
For me i collect cards and stuff like that and people consider it a hobby.
