SNAPE!!!!!!!! I always knew he'd come good! Plus I'm a sucker for a sad story and impressive noses, I have a dinky nose, so I intend to marry a man with at least twice as much nose as me.
JK wrote him as such a cute little child. I wanted to pick him out of his description and make him mine. He was such an odd, awkward little boy.
He was my favourite from the very beginning...mostly 'cause I think Harry is a bit of an idiot.
I pretty much just sobbed the whole way through him dying and "The Prince's Tale". Why'd she have to kill off my favourite character? And then not even tell me what happened to his body? She should have left out that blasted epilogue and granted us a few more chapters on the aftermath of the war. All the funerals, and Harry's reflection on what a bloody great guy Snape was really. She left me out in the cold! Now I have no idea if he won his way into the hearts of everyone that hated him! How am I supposed to rest without that knowlege huh?

My favourite character would have to be Professor Snape, I loved him from book one, and when the initial rumours about a film came out, I'd said to my friends, that Alan Rickman would make a great Snape - and lo and behold!
I'd always stuck to my guns about Snape, and said I thought there must be some good in him, as Dumbledore trusted him so much, admittedly I was gutted when book 6 came out, as I'd been proved wrong - to all those who love to get one up on me. Naturally I had the last laugh with Deathly Hallows, as he was a good guy - just had a funny way of showing it.
What a torment for the poor man - trying to protect the son of the woman he loved most, when he resembled the man who made his life a living hell, and I just love the bit at the end where he grabs Harry and says "look...at...me." The fact that Harry names one of his sons after him too, is a tribute to the fact that everyone realised he was just doing the best he could with a bad hand. Love him to bits in the books and the films - long live Alan Rickman!

I loved Sirius and Remus before I even knew who they were going to portray them on film.
I loved Remus because he was unlike any other teacher I've read about in the "Harry Potter" series. He respected himself and in so doing the students respected him as well. He was really close to Harry, and I believe that he always tried hard to understand the students, to connect with them.
As for Sirius, he was very close to Harry and he would have done anything to help him. He was like a father to Harry and that was what I loved most about him. He was the only one who understood Harry completely. Sometimes when he can't tell Ron or Hermoine stuff, he would turn to Sirius. This showed the unbreakabel bond between those two.

oh boy, here we go. :)
my little sister is sitting right behind me, so these are her words THAT I'M TYPING, but not what I may agree with, okay? :)
Severus Snape: (GET THIS)- he is really really cute (once you get past the teeth, hair, and grumpiness yeah, MAYBE), he was the GOODY guy the whole time (fair point), and he is really really cool (huh?). the reason he is so cool is because he is really really hot (BATHROOM!), really really smart (huh), and he looks really really good in those black clothes (no comment :P)
sorry about that. anywho...
the weasly twins- no only are they admittedly cute in the movie, they are outstandingly funny as well. if it were not for them, i think harry would have jumped off a bridge. like he said at the end of book4- we all need a laugh. ")
ginny- smart, cute, and fiesty to boot. i think just about everybody (guy or girl) could identify with her because of her shyness and her clumsiness when it comes to talking or even being in the same 10 foot radius with the object of our affections, plus she proves her worth to her brothers. and i like that she is able to keep up a good humor about her life and has such a FANTASTIC personality. plus get on the wrong side of her- HEADS UP!
SIRIUS BLACK- so cool, so hot, and so on fire! :P
voldemort- because he is good at being bad! :) 9but still a bad guy because he killed harry's parents! BAD!)

Answer #1 is sooo right! Fred and George should have their own little series of disaster courtesy of the twin Weasleys!
But I don't think JK Rowling would do that...then again, maybe she would...
I <3 Sirius too! He's so cool...But Kreacher stinks...
Aside from all them I LOVE Tonks! She is sooooooo cool!

I loved Dombledore. He was kind, intelligent, patient, loving, talented and human. He knew his limitations (book 7) and stuck to them. I think that is admirable. Especially when he knew that power would corrupt him so he chose not to take the minsitry position. Also, he knew how to hold himself togather during the most difficult of times. For example, when he distanced himself from Harry although he saw him as a son. I just love him. I cried for hours after his death.

Gotta say, I enjoyed Snape's struggle, the most. I mean ,here's this poor guy torn between protecting the son of the love of his life that also happens to be the offspring of his biggest tormentor. Then, you find out how loyal he was to Dumbledore.... by far the best.
