it all depends on the question and how much fun it can be to answer. everyone has there own opinion and every opinion is different...... that's what makes this fun

I think some answers can be stated quickly, and some can't.
Some questions beg for a short answer and some don't. Have I gotten anywhere yet? My grandma pika-nannie told me, "Never ask a question that can be answered "No". That's really a challenge! Don't know if I helped you get the answer you need, but I think you're a fun looking aminal and I wanna be friends. I've had two questions deleted, and I'm scared, so I will look to you as a mole model. Byeeee!

Not neck-i-sarah-ly. Some really great questions have just
a few answers; some have a bunch.
It's more just about the answerer (although many questions suck!)
Every one by now has identified the "hit and run" answerer, on an OCD crusade to snak on two pts., and rack them up thusly...
A Whitman Sampler of their typical answers:
"No"
"LOL"
"What do U Mean?"
"I don't know"
"Youu R Stoopid!"
"IMAO!"
"That's Funny! LOL"
"Etc......"
whereas, those interested bi-laterely in giving you a quality answer (thanx to your good question), and in hoping for the big TEN, is going to pause and give you a piece of their time.
Einstein would tell us that it's all relative, then HE would get 10 pts!

Yes they are mostly shallow and meant for on line answers.
But then there are the 3-5 answer questions, with only geeks answering, after a while they get a reputation of putting you to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Ooops what did you say?

I think the number of answers, if they are good answers, does not make a question shallow. However, there are a lot of dumb questions that are presented for their shock value, and are not really questions at all. Those I seldom bother with.

Usually the short questions without a lot of details have more answers.
In several cases, they are shallow questions which is why they don't require much detail!

Yes. Deep, deep down, the questions with more answers are pretty shallow.

Yes, the more answers you get, the more shallow your question is.
I like questions with no answers.
Edit: I am in doubt. Should it be "the shallower"? Well, you choose.

Yes I do. When there are a few answers they are usually right on the money. When there are a lot the people don't seem to care about quality.
