Cuddle, talk to her, put on some music and dance with her in your arms-she will love it! Get a flat little blanket that won't bundle up and lay with her on the floor and let her play on her tummy to build up her muscles. She is like a little sponge right now, listening and watching and soaking up all the input that you give her. She will love to do anything as long as its with you...

When my daughter was 8 weeks old, I took her for walks around the house and just outside (back yard and front yard) and explained this great (and crazy) new world she's in. I sang and danced with her. I talked to her A LOT and read stories to her. I showed her pictures. We napped together. I helped her play with her toys and made sure she had tummy time. Of course we had people coming over left and right wanting to see her so she socialized with others as well LOL. I think that communicating with her is the most important factor. You could even begin working on signing with her so she can understand how to better communicate with you as she grows. Congrats on the new addition to your family and best wishes!

Read to her, sing to her, take her for a walk in a stroller or just hold her for a walk..
When you get your playmat you can have "tummy time"; and just talk to her and show her things.

My daughter did carry her head up by using then and he or she enjoyed to flow out. we would flow to the mall and he or she would only seem at anybody. She hates being caught at residing house, yet while we are right here.... on the component we would placed her on our mattress and roll her for the time of it. She definitely enjoyed it and had a large smile on her face. She became rolling from her tummy to back at 9 weeks because of the fact we confirmed her how. We additionally moved her legs like a bicycle, and that i even think of all of us started her in her walker at approximately 10 weeks. She ought to no longer even touch the floor yet she cherished being upright to play together with her toys. babies catch directly to issues speedy in case you tutor them what they might do. My daughter is 5 months... sitting on her very own, attempting to flow slowly, and rolling alot.

Take her for a walk in the stroller. Fresh air a little sun is good for her and you. I liked the bouncer, play mat, etc. I breastfed and that took a lot of my time but was so worth it.

one of the more fun things you can do with children this age & younger is sensory activities. My favorite is get a lot of different smells like cinnamon, lemon, etc & let your baby smell them. They will let you know by facial expressions and sounds what they like or dont like

Read books to her. Even though it seems like she doesn't get it, you are reading her words you don't normally say and this helps with her speech development. The earlier you start the better. Talk to your baby ALOT!

At 8 weeks you should be talking, rocking, and cuddling her. This is still bonding time.
