Because the Tigers pitchers will give it to them again. 8 unearned runs. When Eckstein is the MVP last year because he hit a double!!! that means the Tigers gave it away. St Louis was gracious enough to accept

Because baseball will go on forever. Every team will likely win the World Series at least once from this point on. For instance, this year THE RED SOX ARE GOING ALL THE WAY!

I think it will be hard for them to win the World Series, considering that they're not going to win their division or the wildcard.

The only World Series they had a shot at this season was the one that just took place in Williamsport.

u wish the cards thats a good one!! pitching wins games especially in the playoffs i would say the Padres. 3.57 best team era.
