Each and every time you go see a doctor to start a new pill or when they give you injections for the contraceptive, they will have to check for pregnancy. It is fatal to the fetus when hormones that are used to stop the ovulation is present while the lil angel is trying very hard to live. Women who may be pregnant or are pregnant aren't allowed to touch a "patch" or dispose it, because of the possible contact with the medicated side. There are a wide variety of possible ill effects if a pregnant woman is exposed to it, even contact with the skin where it can be absorbed into her system.

No, you shouldn't have to take another pregnancy test because you are going to your doctor to get a new script for birth control pills. When they call you back ask them this as well.

If you still have not started your period when you return to your doc for more birth control, you NEED to tell them that. You could be pregnant.
