x = 8 cos(theta) , y = 9 sin (theta)

(a) Eliminate the parameter to find a Cartesian equation of the curve.

cos(theta) = x/8 and sin(theta) = y/9

since cos^2 + sin^2 = 1

The cartesian equation is (x/8)^2 + (y/9)^2 = 1
I believe this is a circle.

x^2/64 + y^2/81 = 1
