No, none of the men I've dated or been attracted to have immediately reminded me of my dad. Certainly, none of them have beared a similar resemblance to my father. But there have been qualities and interests I've discovered to be the same. Let's take one of the guys I'm dating now for an example. He's an honest, honorable man who takes pride in his work and what he does. He is a sports fan, particularly football, particularly the Steelers. The last guy I dated was a golf player. He was a good guy, amiable and trustworthy. These are the kind of things that are similar to my own father.

I certainly am, because my dad is the best man that God created or that evolved. He's a great listener , he loves music like I do. I get my personality from him he's just great and if I could find a man with all the quality;s that my dad has I would be the luckiest woman in the world

Absolutely not. I am repulsed by men that remind me of my father. He was an alcoholic, and addicted to more drugs than I feel like naming. He didn't live with us (his own damned choice), and never wanted to see us. He would rather watch sports and get high and drunk than spend time with his kids. But there was nothing like those few, rare occasions when he would take me to his house to spend time with him! Oh yea, nothing like him leaving me in a room to entertain my self while he watched football and got high with me in the other room.

The only positive male role model I ever had in my life was my step father, and he died when I was 5, and I barely remember him, but what I do remember, is all good. But I DO find men with personalities like his attractive. He was kind, caring, and sweet. He worked saturdays so he could take monday off to visit our teachers and talk to them about how we were doing in school (there were three of us kids). He was loving, and his family meant every thing to him.

No, not even on a psychological level. He's a great guy. I just am not attracted to his type. Which I think is normal. However, if girls had to go through watching their dad abuse their mother or cheat on her, usually those girls unknowingly look for the same thing when they become women.

My dad worked hard to get my brother and I the things we wanted and we didn't always appreciate him. Now I'm a straight A college student doing well with my life for my dad to see!

yes, my dad's a very unique person, and i get along well with him. however, he has alot of talents, and sometimes i don't think any guy can have as many talents in the variety if subjects that my dad does. but if i do find something in common between the guy i have my eyes on and my dad i'm hooked!

So weird...yeah. I wasn't around my father alot. Left when I was 5. Didn't see him again until I was 26. Saw him 3 times before he died. My husband now has a wild bad boy side just like my father.
