i was wonderin wat is this one bout is it with micheal myers or someone else is it a remake also how many halooween movies are there

The new one is a prequel/remake of the original Halloween. Rob Zombie likes to call it a "reimagining". The new one will go into the childhood of Michael Myers and will also show Michael at Smith's Grove Sanitarium. Then he escapes and the remake part of the movie begins.
There are 8 total Halloween movies, not including this new one, and one documentary film.

Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (has nothing to do with Michael Myers)
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers

Halloween: 25 Years of Terror (documentary film)

I believe it's a remake. Not counting this as one, there are 8 Halloween movies. 1-6, H2O, and Resurrection. However, as my horror-movie loving friend likes to point out, Halloween 3 is crap because it doesn't have Michael Myers in it. Just some demonic mask or something.

It's a remake by Rob Zombie and I cringe at the idea. Don't mess with Carpenter!!

It's with Micheal Meyers. There are eight Halloween movies, and I own them all. Can't wait for this one!
