Enzymes play a major role in the biological reactions because it accelerate the reactions (the formation of the products). Most of the biological reactions are not only from A to B, but they are like cascade from A to B, from B to C, from C to D until we reach the final product ( it is like a chain) so if for any reason the enzymes will denature, that will block the reaction and the substances wont be converted to the products anymore, the chain will not be accomplished so what will happened is accumulation of the substrate in the body and deficiency for the product that is necessary for the cell so it causes so many diseases, sometimes can cause death.
I hope my knowledge was useful for you Good Luck

Death. Remember that enzymes catalyze reactions that would otherwise take years (or practically, never) to occur.
Specifically, take DNA replication. Your body's cells are constantly dying and dividing. DNA replication requires several enzymes to occur--DNA polymerase, for one. To power your body, enzymes catalyze steps of the citric acid cycle. Even to eat, you use enzymes to breakdown your food--amylase, for example, is in your saliva. Etc. etc. etc.

You would die. Chemical reactions would take place, but at a rate far to slow to keep you alive.
