I have a 2007 Ford Fusion SE AWD and sometimes my A/C starts blowing extremely hot air after a short while. Sometimes if I shut the A/C off then turn it back on it is fine for awhile and sometimes it won't come back for hours. I have taken it in to the dealership 4 times and they cannot seem to isolate the problem. They also say they can't find any other cases. I want to know if I am the only one out there having this issue.

I also, seem to have a similar problem. I have a 2007 SE AWD, and when the A/C is on, the temp in the car does not cool off. the lowest the temp goes is 42 degrees F. I also have a 2003 Focus ZX5, and the lowest temp on that A/C is 29 degrees F. I took the car into the dealership to see if they could fix the problem, thought it might have been the compressor, but with no luck. They say that they can find nothing wrong with it. Another issue we notice with the A/C unit, is that there is a Film that accumulates on the windshield when the a/c is running, and have to continually clean the inside of the windshield.

ok, an a/c won't make the car a lemon. just saying.

if it is blowing hot, LEAVE IT BLOWING HOT, roll down a window and TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHILE THE PROBLEM IS OCCURING.

this will make your point for you, as it is happening while they are watching.

i sell new fords, this is a new one on me. probably an issue with a switch sticking or some minute little thing in the system which is why they are having trouble isolating the issue.

If you can get this problem to happen for them and they can't fix it they should replace the car as it is under warranty and there is a no lemon policy.

Ask a different dealer to take a look at the problem...

take your car back to the dealer and leave it tell them you need a loaner while they work on yours.they have to let you have a loaner.just say call me when you get it right. it's a brand new car it has to work.if they give you trouble call your creditor and have them to call them.
