Just go up to her and say, "Mom, I need to speak with you about something personal." Mom will probably have a pretty good idea about what you want to talk to her about....she was in your shoes once. She can answer any questions you might have and she will be one proud mama too!

Just tell her (preferably not in the middle of the grocery store). She will be very glad that you confided in her and she can help you get set up with all the stuff you need.

PS. You can also milk the pms thing at first.

did you tell your mom when you lost your first tooth , so u can get a $1.00 from the tooth fairy ???? tell your mother you got your period maybe she will give you $5.00

What a wonderful event to share with your mom, that you started menstruating. It is a cause for celebration, "Congratulations". You can take her to a special place, where you hang out & it's quiet (like your room).
