united states postal service shipped the package last thursday and it still hasnt arrived today tuesday. from florida to pennsylvania, philadelphia. When should I expect it?

depends on the way it was shipped. when my parents ship packages from fla to me in del it takes about 4 or 5 days.
i would give it 1 more day then see if they can track it. did you get insurance on the item?

I agree that your package should be arriving any day now. In the future, if not paying PRIORITY MAIL or using the nice FLAT RATE SHIPPING BOXES, I would advise you to have Sender pay the additional $.75 for Parcel Post Delivery Confirmation bec though the www.usps.gov Tracking System is not like UPS, it still will feed status info each night until delivery as to package whereabouts...which is how we track all of our EBAY shipments and we buy a lot with 497+ feedback.
Note Delivery Confirmation for 2-3 day Priority Mail and Flat Rate Boxes is $.65

To a large city like Philadelphia, with it's large mail volumes expect 7 days.
