Try to stay away from the original gifts such as flowers, candies, etc. It really depends on what she likes and her tastes. I would suggest something homemade. Us females love that men put some effort and thought into the gift rather than going to a dept store and picking something randomly.

I'd always just like an evening for me. Nice dinner whether out or in, just so long as I didn't have to cook. Flowers sent to the office. And nice candle lit bubble bath maybe for two. A massage or back rub.

You could simply make her dinner, greet her warmly, with roses, and maybe some wine. Give her a backrub, and not expect sex, unless she wants it.
