Period due today. Took First Response test. Test says you should receive a result within 3 minutes. Very faint pink "positive" line showed up after 3 minutes. I know you're not supposed to read the result after 10, but this was after the alotted time. The faint line did not show up immediately, but was present at the 3 minute mark. What do you think?

I took 2 of the most expensive pregnancy tests I could find and both came up with very faint positive lines. I thought it was just me wanting to see them cause they were so light. Three tests later I got the answer I wanted......I was pregnant!
Hint: some of the off brand tests work better than the brand name!

I had a false positive HPT a few months ago and it was devastating when I found out I wasn't pregnant because I thought a line was a line. This time, I did three test (one line test, one digital, and on dollartree test). All were positive. I am 6 weeks now. Good luck!

Yippee! I would say congratulations are in order. I mean really! While it does happen, chances are REAL slim for you to get a + result when you are NOT pregnant. It is probably weak because you took it on the day that your period was supposed to start.
Take another one in the morning just to be 100% for sure.

It sounds like you are pregnant.
I would make an appointment with your DR. congratulations
I have never had a line show up on the first response tests if I was not pregnant.

You are pregnant. As long as the line was there before 10 minutes, you should assume it is accurate! Make a prenatal appointment! Congratulations!

Take another test to be sure. Then schedule an appt. you can have a blood test done if you want. Most ob/gyns will not see you until you are 8 wks or more. Congrats and good luck.

If it was after 3 minuts and before 10 minutes then you are pregnant!
Take another one with your morning urine and see what happens.

sounds like your most likely pregnant :)
you can take a test in a few days to see if that line shows up sooner.

If you saw a line and are not taking any medications that contain the pregnancy hormone, life fertility pills, then congratulations you are pregnant. This happened to me in my first pregnancy.
