The sky is blue because the sky scatters the light from the sun. The scatter angle varies as a function of the wavelength. It just so happens that the blue wavelenght is the one that is scattered most toward the ground, so the sky takes on an over-all blue appearance.
Grass is green because the cholorophyll in the grass absorbs green light the least, so that color is more predominant in the light that is scatterd back to your eyes.

the sky is blue because of the molecules floating around in the air which cause the sunlight to refract in a certain wavelength of light (blue)
The grass is green because the chloroplasts and chlorophyll in the grass reflect the wavelength of the color green.

The sky color is a reflection of the Earth's oceans.
Grass is green because of the action of photosynthesis. Place something over a patch of grass for a few weeks and the covered grass will loose it's color

The sky is blue because the clouds act like a mirror and reflect light.(This is called scattering.)
The grass is green because grass is considered a plant and plants make there own food using chlorophyl. (Chlorophyl turns the plant green.)

grass is green because it absorbs all other wavelengths except that of green.
'white' light consists of 7 wavelength.(remember VIBGYOR). out of these 7, colors towards the bluer end are scattered more than colors towards the other end of the spectrum. that is why sky appears blue. to sum up sky is blue beacuse blue light is scattered more than other colors.
