A hard decision, but I think I would rather drown. I have heard drowning be described as a peaceful sensation, while burning alive, I think, would have to be the most painful experience one could ever have.

I'd rather drown. Even a tiny little burn on your finger hurts like the dickens. I can't even begin to imagine what your whole body burning would feel like. At least with drowning you wouldn't feel much.

Burning. Oddly enough it sounds less painful to me. Outside to inside-- drowning goes inside ot outside as you die.

Drowning totally...I don't want to burn alive, and feel all the horrible things people experience when they are burned. Everytime I hear that happened to someone, I feel sick in the pit of my stomach!

um id rather DROWN! even though it would hurt in the end when your lungs explode, its better then burning all over your body, really who wouldn't pick drowning? the searing pain of fire is one i would NOT like to experince.

The brain survives with oxygen and when there is none, it dies. so one drowns just breathing in water. Breathing in fire also kills you but with a lot more pain.
