Yes, it's also sometimes called 'hysterical pregnancy' and can even happen to men.

You won't get symptoms the week after you've had sex. It takes a while. It's psychological. If you don't want to be pregnant, don't have sex, or at least, don't have unprotected sex. This should be common sense.

Yes you can. Sometimes if you worry, you stress your body out and it can think its pregnant. Also, if you are trying to conceive, and really want to be pregnant, your body can trick your mind into thinking it is. And you get all the symptoms.

you would not have pregnancy symptom the week you got pregnant. You probably feel bad due to something else or you are stressing yourself out so much you are making yourself sick.

HI SWEETIE- YES, ITS CALLED STRESS OR PHANTOM PREG. I THINK ITS MORE OF STRESS. PHANTOM PREG. JUST SOUNDS TO OUT OF WACK FOR ME TO GET THAT FAR INTO THINKING YOUR PREG. BUT MAYBE SOME WOMAN DO. (NEVER HEARD OF IT UNTIL I STARTED TTC#1) BUT YOU COULD BE SO WORRIED OR EXCITED TO GET PREG. THAT YOU MAKE YOUR BODY STRESS AND THINGS THAT WERE THERE BEFORE THAT YOU NEVER NOTICED ALL BECOME A LITTLE CLEARER AND YOU IMAGINE IT BEING THERE AND MAKE THINGS WORSE. THIS LAST MONTH I FOR SURE THOUGHT I WAS PREGO. AND SO EXCITED, ONLY TO GET A BFN AND AF CAME! ;( I HAD ALL THE SIGNS I SWEAR I DID. BUT NOPE! I WAS WRONG! GOOD LUCK AND BABY DUST TO YOU AND ME! ;)
